UV Inspection Lights are used in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) for fluorescing fluorescent magnetic inks and fluorescent dye penetrants. UV light or black light with a wavelength of 365nm creates the optimal viewing conditions.We have a very wide range of UV Lights to choose from such as Bulb or LED technology, mains operated, portable battery operated, combinations of both, hand-held, bench mounted, in varying cases and intensities etc. All offer instant or near instant start up times, with no pre cooling etc. Can be switched off and back on instantly. All operate with no external fans making them lighter and quieter, very useful in damp or dusty environments and require less maintenance. They will still stay cool to the touch, especially useful in confined spaces. None of our lamps are affected by magnetic fields. The battery models are fitted with current regulators to keep intensities stable when the battery power fades. Our UV Lights are divided in to two main categories defining the light source technology the Lights are based on. Labino Standard MPXL UV Lights ** |

The Labino Standard MPXL Ultraviolet UV Inspection Lights offer many advantages over previous technology. Using a new type of low wattage bulb, they produce a higher UV output - yet generate little heat. This means that these black lights are safe to use in dark areas as they stay cool without the need for inbuilt fans which draw dirt into the lights. The Labino Standard MPXL ultra violet lights are sealed to IP65 allowing them to be safely splashed with water in Penetrant wash areas. Various styles of lamps are available operating from either mains or battery power supplies. Full UV intensity (4000 - 45,000µW/cm2, beam dependant) is achieved after about 5-15 seconds from start up, and can be powered down and restarted immediately with no wait times. The Labino MPXL series of UV blacklight lamps produce very high UV light intensities, creating extreme excitation of fluorescent material, which makes it possible to see things, in daylight and at great distances, that was impossible with former technology. Unaffected by surrounding magnetic fields and sealed to IP65 standards, in rugged aluminium housings, the Labino UV lights are designed for the industries where they are used.

The Labino® SuperXenon UV inspection lamp 35W are based on MPXL technology. The Labino® SuperXenon UV lamps contain the electronics and bulb in a single housing and is available with either no handle (SXNH), a pistol handle (SXPH) or as a top handle (SXH). Labino® SuperXenon 35W UV Lamp has all the features as the 50 W version but has lower UV intensities. Some industry standards state a lower UV intensity must be used. This 35W SuperXenon allows for this but still giving you great operating features and portability.

Labino GX Orion Overhead UV LED Lights |

Labino’s LED overhead inspection lamp, GX Orion, is a modular system that can be used to cover large areas. There are three different models to choose from, remote controlled with multiple UV intensities, UV on/off button only, and UV and Visible (white) light on/off buttons only. The GX Series family of products has been specifically designed to meet the ASTM E3022-18 and ISO 3059-12 standards as well requirements set by the PRIMES. The optics used in the GX Series meet the Roll-Royce RRES 90061 specification. The beam profile of the UV light is extremely homogeneous without any footprints showing from the LEDs, shades, dark spots or other disturbing defects. All GX Orion models have a built-in PLC interface designed to connect to your PLC system. You can choose a “mother” or a “slave” GX Orion unit, with or without remote panel, with or without on/off power switches and still be able to monitor the unit completely through your computer via the PLC interface.

BB 2.0 Series products Helios, Ikaros & Artemis are lights with a powerful and wide UV Output. They provide large coverage and weigh less than many comparable products. The mains operated model weighs just 1.2 kg (2.6 lbs) and the battery operated model weighs just 1.7 kg (3.7 lbs). They are widely used for field inspections or on an MPI bench. BB 2.0 Series lamps are penetrant resistant and have ingress protection 68 (IP68 Waterproof).The BB 2.0 Series family of products has been specifically designed to meet the ASTM E3022-18 and ISO 3059-12 standards as well requirements set by the PRIMES. The optics used in the BB 2.0 Series meet the Rolls-Royce RRES 90061 specification. The beam profile of the UV light is extremely homogeneous without any footprints showing from the LED’s, shades, dark spots or other disturbing defects. NDT professionals worldwide recognise BB 2.0 series qualities, making it Labino’s best-selling product for many years in a row. This lamp is based on LED technology and offers you a very narrow spectra with a peak wavelength of 365nm. Each unit consists of 8 ultraviolet LEDs. Each LED’s life is estimated at 30,000 hours. All electronics as well as the LEDs are placed in a single rugged housing with the diameter not exceeding 15.5cm (6.1 inches).

Labino MB 2.0 Series |

MB 2.0 Series products Zeus, Hermes and Iris are UV inspection lights. They are extremely robust, compact and light. Certified to IP68 waterproof. Designed for use in heavy industries with very difficult operating environments. The mains operated model weighs just 732 grams (1.6 lbs) and the battery model weighs just 781 grams (1.7 lbs). The Iris weighs 568 grams (1.3 lbs). Estimated LED Life time of 30,000 hours.The MB 2.0 Series of inspection products have been specifically designed to meet various industry standards. The Labino UVG2 2.0 is a small-sized, lightweight, UV-A LED hand held torch designed for quick inspections in “hard-to-reach” spots. The Labino UVG2 2.0 UV LED Torches are used for many uses across various industries such as in Non Destructive Testing for MPI and DPI inspections, Leak detection, Purity Control. They are used by Police forces to detect forensic traces (e.g. body fluids) at crime scenes. They are widely used in the detection of fluorescent tracer liquids (e.g.. SmartWater TM). They are also used by art galleries and museums for Art Restoration and Art Verification. The list of applications using ultraviolet light is increasing all the time. The Spotlight and Midlight UVG2 2.0 torch generate an intensity of approximately 100,000 μw/cm2 and 18,000 μw/cm2 respectively at 38 cm (15 inches). The running time is 4 hours. The Labino UVG3 2.0 is a very similar UV LED Torch to the UVG2 2.0 with the addition of a unique white light block filter that is not affected by solarization, for applications where the amount of visible light is critical. This filter eliminates the white light from the lamp and reduces the glare reflected from shiny surfaces i.e. aluminium, when you use the lamp along with UV Block glasses. The FLOOD is in compliance with ASTM E3022-18, Rolls-Royce RRES 90061, Airbus AITM6-1001, The Boeing Company, USAF and Pratt & Whitney requirements. The MID is in compliance with ASTM E3022-18, USAF and Pratt & Whitney requirements. The SPOT is in compliance with ASTM E3022-18 requirements. The Spotlight, Midlight and Floodlight UVG3 2.0 torch generate an intensity of approximately 90,000 μw/cm2, 9,000 μw/cm2 and 4,000 μw/cm2 respectively at 38 cm (15 inches). The running time is 4 hours for the Flood & Spot and 8 hours for the Mid. They weigh just 211 grams (7.4 oz). Sealed to IP68 Waterproof.

Labino UVG4-HEAD Series |

Labino UVG4-HEAD is a UV LED Head Lamp designed to free the user’s hands during an inspection. The lamp can be adjusted in three different angles. The operator can switch the angles of the light during the inspection. The rubber head bands are adjustable to fit helmets. The battery is located at the back and there are no cables hanging from the lamp. The Spotlight and Midlight UVG4 head torch generate an intensity of approximately 25,000 μw/cm2 and 10,000 μw/cm2 respectively at 38 cm (15 inches). The running time is 4.5 hours. The VISION 365 (UV365) Blacklight UV Torch from Advanced NDT Ltd offers a light compact, long life, high durability solution to UV inspection techniques. The high powered LED bulb gives intensity greater than 6,000µw/cm² (60W/m2) at 400mm. The visible light output is <20 Lux. The battery life is approximately 3 hours per battery enabling longer inspection periods. The VISION 365 Torch Light - Spotlight is a small-sized, lightweight, UV-A LED flash-light designed for quick inspections and access to “hard-to-reach” spots. The lamp measures 14.5 cm long (5.7 inches) and weighs 190 grams, battery included.

The Labino Nano UV 375 UV LED Torch Light is developed for fast analysis of documents by patrol police as well as customs / police officers. The design is very small and light and can easily be fastened to a belt, using the included belt holster. The most common applications for this torch are ID controls, document analysis, Smart Water and invisible ink.This extremely compact, lightweight and affordable UV-A LED flash-light operates with a peak wavelength of 375nm. The Lamp measures 11.1cm long (4.4 inches) and weighs 114 grams (3.8oz), battery included. The Labino Nano UV 375 Spotlight produces a narrow intense ultraviolet beam measuring over 2,000 µw/cm² (20W/m2) at a distance of 38cm (15 inches). The centre of the light beam is 40mm (1.6 inches) diameter, at a distance of 38cm. The Visible light output is <40lux (3.7fc).

The Labino® DUV-35W is only to be used in combination with the Labino® Trigger Ballast as our electronic ballast was specifically developed to optimize the output from this light source.
Note: Due to Special Processes carried out by Labino, It is highly recommended to use genuine Labino DUV-35W bulbs / lamps in your Labino UV Light to prevent any damage to the lights internal electronics and to give maximum performance and lifetime.
